All things considered buying this tablet for INR 10990/- is not recommended. It will be a good buy for INR 7250/-
Of all the things advertised, 3G does not work. My BSNL 3G SIM card works only on 2G / EDGE mode. On emailing Zync support, they come with the ridiculous explanation that even if it shows 'E' it still is 3G. They think that customers are morons!
Another disadantage is that it does not have WiFi tethering at all nor does it have GPS so google maps will be for ornamental purposes only.
I called the support team of Zync three times and all they said was that their technical expert will give me a call back, which is yet to happen. I wonder what he is going to tell me!
The ICS OS also does not have the option of updating the OS, so I am at a loss as to how they (Zync) are going to upgrade these tablets to JellyBean!
So, buyers beware!
Android 4.0.4 (Upgradable to 4.1 )
9.7 inch bigger and brighter screen
10 Point Multi touch ( it shows 10 Point when using the multi touch tester - Zync website shows only 5 Points , I am not sure why )
1 GB RAM
720p/1080p videos can be played
Good Battery backup
Not Getting Excellent signal, but I am able to browse it with medium speed
Data Usage ( Mobile )
3G Connectivity is fine, however not getting excellent 3G signal as compared to my Laptop/Phone
Tried to connect dongle, but not sure how to configure it.. Will check later
Bit low , however adjusted with an application called speaker boost..
Excellent Bright Display (1074x768).
3 steps brightness control ; cannot reduce the brightness below one point (may be too bright in a dark room)
Tested the HDMI connectivity to my TV with a mini HDMI converter (Purchased separately) .. I can watch You tube movies in my TV now.. :)
8GB Internal Storage ( 1.15 GB dedicated for applications and 5GB can be used )
32 GB Supported (Inserted 32GB Micro SDHC card and tested)
1 GB RAM
Excellent Battery backup ( 2 or 3 days if it is idle / more than a day for normal use /continuously two movies can be watched )
Charging takes bit longer time, (It is expected because 7000mAh battery)
It is charging with AC adapter and connected the micro USB cable to Laptop. (Company says it won't charge with USB, so be careful when you do a USB charging)
Maps and Navigation
Tested the Maps and navigation, fine with even the voice search (Change the speech Voice settings to English(India) , if it doesn't search the ascent )
No GPS - may be a drawback :(
You can save the map for offline usage ( Google map feature )
Connected to the laptop as a storage (Select the option). I can directly copy the files from Laptop to tablet
Tested the USB storage connection with a OTG cable ( Bought separately) . (Tested with 16GB pen drive and 500GB HDD)
Tested the Mouse and keyboard Connection with OTG Cable.( The Wireless Mouse was not working- not sure whether it works in other tablets)
Tested the HDMI Connection to TV .
The default player can convert the 2 D to 3D and you can watch it with 3D glasses. (Not tested - I need to search my 3D glasses)
Voice call is fine, Voice clarity is fine with Headset/Bluetooth but not with speaker phone and built-in mic.
Played Angry Birds, Fruit ninja, Temple run, Death Moto games. – Working fine.
Tested the Skype video calls - Voice is fine but camera is not.
Tested bench Marks:-
Quadrant Score - 2222
Nenamark2 Score - 21.8 fps
Antutu Score - 2967
Linpack Score - 15(single) / 14 (Multi )
10 Point Multi Touch
Wi-Fi and 3G is not excellent (May be we should expect this in the budget tablet )
Bit Heavy because of the bigger screen and battery; however I feel it is not heavier than IPAD.
I saw one review that it crashes if you open 4 or 5 applications, yes it is ... but isn't it expected in 10K tablet? Even my laptop with core i5 responds slowly if I open many applications. :-) . [ I have found a work around for this with a memory cleaner and task killer applications. ]
I don't think the Subscription of BigFlix is really adding any cream on the cake ! .. Good for someone who want to watch some old movies.
No Protective cases ( Note Book type ) are available for this type of tablet.
Upgradable to 4.1 - But not sure when !
The Sleeve pouch and screen guard are free with this package, Take time when you stick the screen guard otherwise It will have some bubbles. (From my experience )
Apart from that I purchased below accessories from market :-
iPAD II Leather case –Rs 500 ( It is suitable for this with slight adjustments , it saved the tablet when my kid threw it on the floor )
Mat Finish Screen Guard – Rs 250
OTG Cable – Rs 120
HDMI Converter - Rs 200
32 GB Micro SDHC – Rs 1100
Conclusion : It is a worth product for this budget , till now I didn't face any major issues with this tab ( Touch wood ) ... Don't blame me if you receive a bad piece !!! :-) .

(I will try to upload a video of testing the benchmarks)
I choose to buy this tablet after reading some reviews on the internet. I don't regret buying this tablet. The tablet itself is decent looking. Screen resolution is ok, not that great for a 1024 x 786 pixels resolution. While browsing, I noticed that image pixels break when zoomed in while font quality stays crisp and clear. There were no lags when changing screens. I would recommend to use task killer, app2sd, etc to keep the processor and ram running smoothly. About the battery, it is not up to the mark. It takes approximately 6-7 hours to fully charge the battery while the tablet is switched off with charger. The battery lasts for about 5-6 hours if used continuously. Camera and in-built speaker quality is really bad. On 2G the signal works well but it drops sometimes in between. For 3G you have to use 128k sim else 3G won't work. I haven't tried an external 3G dongle yet.
If you are looking for a budget tab with big screen, decent resoultion, play games, watch movies, browse internet, social networking and check email then this tablet is for you. Overall, this tablet is value for money.
Note:- Do check all the ports of your tablet, one of the micro USB port on my tablet is not working and I plan to send back the tablet to Snapdeal for replacement. I had read a review of someone with the same problem on the internet.
Well. Frankly speaking, I was not very confident on this product when I ordered it but when I received and started using it I am very much satisfied because it does whatever says it will do and for my requirement which is purely for entertainment and some remote accessing stuffs to my work computer this is fast enough and strong enough.
3G works fine as long as you know you gotto activate 3G in the SIM you insert to expect a 3G speed.Wifi is good too though not the fastest in the market.
Ofcourse there are some cons that I have mentioned in CONS section but all I wanna say is it is 100% value for money
discount coupon there.
The tablet is in 4:3 ratio and feels like the ipad2 in its looks. the sim slot is neatly covered and 3G is working good for me. Even though in some areas with poor network it tends to switch to 2g and edge just like my blackberry phone. The back camera and speaker are not that great and could have been better for sure.
Rest the touch and all is fine. Google maps can be used on 3g but with such expensive 3g plans in the country am happy not to use it. rest email sync etc is working good for me. Google Crome browser is much better than the stock one loaded so I suggest all to download that if you plan to buy the tablet. The battery tends to last around 6-7 hours of usage easily.
Good Screen Resolution
Doesn't hang like other budget tablets.
Supports SIM which is one plus point to this tablet.
Though the specifications appear to be very very good as compared to other tablets in the same price band but the performance part is questionable. Most frustrating one are Web browsing, Speaker Volume and quality, and Camera. Even with 3G sIM the internet is very slow so web browsing is not a fun at all . 2 MP rear camera and Speaker quality are worse than any cheap mobile phone camera. So three important aspects Web Browsing, camera, and Speaker(Music) are poor. Other aspects like phone , cap touchscreen size and resolution , blue tooth are good. Service part seems average. Overall the product is not at all value for money.
i had bought this product 6 months back , but guys i can tell you its just not worth getting into relation with zync.
1. doesnt support 3g at all
2. internet goes on and off every few minutes
3. once network lost u have to switch off and than on it
4 poor poor customer support
just one word AVOID IT AT ALL COST.
Bought this as birthday gift for my little one in November. Loaded with his favourite cartoons, rhymes and learning apps; this tab just works fine. Social networking and browsing also work great for my wife. Screen resolution is very good considering the price and competitor offerings at the same price stand no chance. Speaker is also good. Easy to use even for other techno-phobic members of my family (parents). All those complaining about it being slow, use a free App-Killer or RAM Booster which will allow you control over background apps. A few tweaks with the settings and this baby is the best. Difficult to get accessories like cover but ZYNC has made some available since the turn of the year. All in all gr8 tab. Best part is my little one as usual is quite rough with handling but TOUCHWOOD till this day the tab has held its own.
P.S: HCL is offering the SAME tab for 6K more.
Often hangs up while browsing internet. The Lycra Pouch provided is of 7" screen size.
Nice tablet worth for money
The best tab
This is not the right one for those who have already used products such as Samsung or other branded products.
The touch is very pathetic you have to punch every time, the google homepage is appearing in negative format, and the camera (worse) I'm really surprised why they added camera first of all.
On the whole it's a very substandard product I've wasted nearly Rs 11000.
Product is so good.
product good but some android applications like compass not working
in this tablet
good one for this price...
I am having internet connectivity problems. I receive e-mails. But cannot send. Downloading takes a long time. When I took it to the local service center, he said that the phone is all right. He did not have the latest software for it.
